Chat On Mars translates messages so people who don't share a language can talk. Here's what that means for your information.
AI translation
When you send a message, its text is sent to a third-party AI service to translate it into the languages people in the room read. Please don't share sensitive information.
What we keep
Your messages, the language you chose, and your display name. Guests don't need an account. If you sign in, we also keep your email and the rooms you own.
How long we keep it
Temporary rooms are removed after they expire. In a venue's room, the host can reset the conversation at any time, and idle rooms reset on their own.
What the host can see
The person who created the room can read the conversation and reset it for the next person.
